Genshin Impact 3.8 Leak: Eula and Klee Re-runs Coming Soon

Genshin Impact is said to be offering an opportunity for players to grab a character whose original release they may have missed by means of a Limited Character Banner. It appears the HoYoverse team has established a system which includes re-runs of particular characters around every 5-6 updates.

The latest banner cycle has just added a five-star character to Genshin Impact named Baizhu, along with the long-standing Cryo bow user Ganyu. Additionally, a new four-star unit, Kaveh the Sumeru architect, is also now available.

HutaoLover77, a prominent Genshin Impact leaker, has provided more details about the characters who will have re-runs in update 3.8. According to the leak, the two playable units that have been locked for this update are Eula, the Cryo claymore user, and Klee, the Pyro user. Eula is a descendant of the Lawrence Clan and is the captain of the Reconnaissance Company that works with the Knights of Favonius. She holds the record for missing the most number of banners consecutively in the game’s history, a streak of 12 updates. Her last re-run was 500 days ago when she was released alongside Albedo of the Geo class in the game’s first double banner.

Arataki Itto, another character from the Geo class, was part of the second wave of updates and has been featured in two re-runs since then. It has been confirmed that Eula will take the lead in Genshin Impact version 3.8 and will most likely have her own Story Quest. This could be attributed to the fact that Eula is expected to have a major role at the conclusion of the Sumeru arc, which is likely why HoYoverse is postponing her banner appearance.

Klee, a Pyro user, is included in the same update, which has caused many people to think that version 3.8 will likely introduce the Golden Apple Archipelago. This event, which was initially put together by Alice, the powerful Mondstadt mage and Klee’s mother, is hosted each year.

HutaoLover77’s comments suggest that it is likely for the well-known Hydro catalyst user, Sangonomiya Kokomi, as seen in Genshin Impact, to feature in the upcoming update 3.8. This will be her reappearance since update 3.0 in which she was spotted with the Dendro bow user, Tighnari.

Players can now find Genshin Impact on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5, with a Switch version currently in development.
