New Harvest Moon Game The Winds of Anthos – Release Date and Details
Natsume Inc. has announced the upcoming title The Winds of Anthos in the Harvest Moon franchise. Since its inception on the Super Nintendo, the Harvest Moon series has experienced both highs and lows, yet it continues to remain relevant on modern consoles.
Since 1996, Harvest Moon has been able to keep a devoted following and, despite different developers, players can expect a comprehensive farming sim. Harvest Moon: Rune Factory diversified the set-up by adding different activities and monster-filled zones, as well as developing the series’ lore. PlayStation 4 gamers have several Harvest Moon options, such as Light of Hope, Save The Homeland, and A Wonderful Life, but people who own the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S have been devoid of the franchise until recently. Now, a new title has been unveiled.
The upcoming Harvest Moon installment, The Winds of Anthos, will have features that make it stand out from the others. One of these elements is Expando-Farm, which will enable farmers to move swiftly between places. In addition, Harvest Moon fans will be able to ride around the expansive world of the game with the help of a mount, in addition to fast travel, a common feature in RPGs. As with previous Harvest Moon titles, The Winds of Anthos offers ten romantic partners for players to choose from.
Natsume’s Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos announcement revealed that the game’s region had been under the protection of the Harvest Goddess and Harvest Sprites, until a volcanic eruption disrupted the balance. Those who pre-order the game through Amazon or GameStop will receive a 25th Anniversary Sleepytime Cow Plush, which is modelled after Harvest Moon cows. In a similar fashion to Harvest Moon: One World, there will also be a limited edition version of The Winds of Anthos which will include a one-disc soundtrack, an Animal Lapel Pin Set with six options, and the cow plush.
Natsume Inc. recently announced the upcoming release of Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, however the announcement was made without a trailer or gameplay footage, leaving some fans in anticipation. Generally, Harvest Moon games offer larger universes to explore than their earlier releases, and The Winds of Anthos seems to be no exception with its focus on easy travel, possibly providing one of the largest explorable areas to date.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will be available to play on September 26th for a variety of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
