Rumored Grand Theft Auto 6 Actor Trolls Fans on Social Media
It has been claimed that an actor has been cast in the role of Jason for Grand Theft Auto 6, and this individual has been stirring up the fans on social media. Last year, an immense amount of information was released in regards to Rockstar’s sandbox title, including what the main characters would look like.
The recently leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 material, while still in its early stages, indicated that gamers will be able to select two main protagonists. It was noticed that one of the characters is the initial primary female protagonist to be featured in a mainline GTA title. The other character featured in the big GTA 6 leaks was a person called Jason.
Speculations erupted after the leaked GTA 6 footage, and it didn’t take long for fans to guess the actors that would be portraying the protagonists. According to reports, Bryan Zampella is set to play Jason. His Instagram account is filled with posts that seem to be teasing GTA fans, such as a photo of him wearing a Hawaiian shirt beside palm trees akin to Tommy Vercetti from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and another with him dressed in a nearly identical costume to the one Jason was wearing in the leaked GTA 6 footage.
Recently, some Grand Theft Auto fans have been given a glimmer of hope due to the timing of certain troll posts concerning a potential reveal of GTA 6. Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Showcase set to take place on May 24th, has many believing that the reveal will occur then. Although there is a history of Grand Theft Auto reveals being tied to PlayStation events, fans should not get their expectations too high.
At one of the early PS5 events, the Rockstar Games logo was seen, but the actual announcement was another port of Grand Theft Auto 5. This could be a way for Rockstar to make amends with those who were unimpressed by the reveal, but it is more likely that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be revealed in a separate showcase.
Rumors suggest that the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 may happen sometime in 2024 or 2025, so we are still too early to expect any announcements. However, for those GTA fans who are eager to learn more about the game, it may be wise to pay attention to Zampella’s social media accounts in case he shares more hints.
