Zelda Fan Crafts Incredible Stained Glass Guardian Sword
Recently, an enthusiastic enthusiast of The ** Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom** took to the internet to show off a stunning replica of the Guardian Sword they crafted in anticipation of the approaching sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Constructed from stained-glass, the replica captures the artistic style of the recent Legend of Zelda titles. Despite the fact that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is coming out on May 12th, some fans are too eager to wait for the newest open-world Nintendo game.
Throughout Breath of the Wild, players come across hostile automata known as the Guardians. Intended to defend Hyrule and its people, the Guardians are corrupted by Calamity Ganon and become a menace, but can be defeated by players, allowing them to acquire the Guardian Sword or its more powerful variants. No official word has been given yet, but it appears that these machines may be absent from Tears of the Kingdom. However, Ganondorf, a long-time antagonist of the series, is confirmed to appear.
I’m a stained glass artist and I’m really impatient about Tears of the Kingdom, so I made myself a guardian sword++ to keep myself distracted

A passionate The Legend of Zelda follower, PiercedOtter, posted a remarkable stained-glass copy of the Guardian Sword++, the most powerful variation of the Guardian weapon, on Reddit. The stained-glass replica is remarkably similar to that from Breath of the Wild and is the latest addition of amazing Guardian-based projects from a fan (source). Despite the fact that some devotees didn’t care for the introduction of the machine enemies in Breath of the Wild , others look forward to seeing them come back.
PiercedOtter’s post was met with exclamations of admiration and appreciation for the astonishing replica of stained glass. Additionally, some commenters made jests about the Guardian Sword, with multiple “durability low” remarks – a reference to the weapon durability system in Breath of the Wild, that was not popular among fans. Despite the range of responses, PiercedOtter’s creation is evidently impressive to The Legend of Zelda fans.
The highly anticipated release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is quickly approaching and fans can’t wait to explore the open world that Breath of the Wild brought to the series. Many are a bit hesitant about the possibility of weapon durability systems coming back, yet others are looking forward to the return of Ganondorf in the long awaited sequel to Ocarina of Time. Though the specifics of what is returning to the game are still largely unknown, gamers will not have to wait much longer to experience the open world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Nintendo Switch players can expect to experience The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on May 12.
